Searching for Keywords
It is not always easy to find the right document, as teTEX/TeX Live comes with a huge amount of documents. As one possible help, teTEX/TeX Live provides a tiny program texdoctk. It comes with a database of all documents that Kile uses to offer an interface to it.
All documents are grouped into some categories, and the main advantage is that you can search for packages names or keywords. Kile will then show only the results.
A mouse double click or the Space key will start the viewer for this document. This can be a arbitrary document, not only a DVI, PS, PDF or HTML document. Kile will take Konqueror settings to start a appropriate viewer.
